ERMAGHERD ITS SHADING!!!!!!!!!!! what is this! well i had mainly shaded it before my art block but my little week long holiday has seemed to refresh me so i got a bit more done on him and then due to laziness decided to slap a photo on as the BG.

He also was not meant to show up in plot for another while, though the fact that i finished something really decided me so you guys get to meet him early ;) you will read about him later. and i shall update here with a story then!

BUT until then here are his stats, and just as a short reasoning for the purchase of this fellow.

ALL my Arabians are related. Cio and Ellie are siblings through their sire Kiddo, who is Lola's grandsire. So I needed some new blood to throw over my girls. Hense Assamo. He is not only half brother (through their sire) to the astounding Ibn Inshalla but he is out of a Magnum Psyche mare, so heck yes on the nommy pedigree!

STORY TO COME

Registered Name: Assamo
Barn Name: Ass
Sex: Stallion
Age: depicted 7 years (See journal for current age)
Breed: Arabian
Appearance: Bay with a stripe, two socks and a stocking.
Genetics: Ee-Aa
Height: 15.2hh
Breeder: *zeunicorn1o
Owner/trainer: *sealle
Temperament:"Assamo's behaviour has earned him the often employed nickname of 'Ass'. He is an utter jerk - he'll knock over filled water buckets, step on his food bowls, unhook his manger, spook like a colt, bully the other horses, squeal and trumpet all day, and to top it all off, throw a violent paddy at the tiniest thing. After Assamo, those 'crazy thoroughbreds' don't look so crazy after all."
History: Purchased from Red & Sky after they decided to close down their stable, he was shipped over with two mares that had also been added to KhanCohban Farms. He was purchased to inject some fresh blood into the arabian breeding program for future crossing with the two El Rakib mares we had already. He settled well and has already made firm enemies with some of the other studs, and seems to delight in torturing the poor people sent to work with him. We have found that the only way to keep him managable with ample exercise and even then you still have to watch him.
Discipline(s): Halter, Liberty, Bull fighting, anything that tires him

Gorgeous ass, I don't know how I haven't commented before!

I'd love a breeding one day, not sure which mare yet, but possibly Murder in the Dark. I'd show the foal to AHA Finest status, which will give him more points too :D

Hahaha. Give me some time, and we'll get there! I think with Murder, it'd work well as a pairing and I've wanted to breed her with a foundation stallion anyway so that I don't end up with too many inbred ponies in a few years :D
And their foal would totally tear up the show ring! Need to show Murder some more actually, I've never really captured her as well as I'd like

Haha perfect! yea its easy to forget how fast bloodlines spread through harpg XD i realised that when i noticed all my Arabian's were related (hence this fellow!) He is also half brother to the really successful sire Ibn Inshalla so hopefully he will be as successful as his brother!

I am sure it would be an awesome baby, so take your time as i don't think this boy is going anywhere soon!

Hahaha. It totally is! I know far too much about Arabian bloodlines in Australia for someone likely to never own a horse :P
I was actually just reading up on Crabbet breeding in Australia today. I was reading up on dominant white in Arabians and the 2007 study that demonstrated the gene exists and is a unique mutation in the Arabian different to that in other breeds. Erm. Someone is giving me a dominant white foal in HARPG and I need to figure out what to do with it!

YES!!! you should totally include all that knowledge in your horses! i would love to see what kind of bloodlines you come up with!
