WOOOOO also this image almost killed my tablet. HOWEVER, Fire needed a reference/intro pic and Lin needed a grown up image. These two trouble makers featured in Cassy's pic so they only get a short story. But here is another of the horses that has arrived after the stable remodel. (didn't I tell you there would be some thoroughbreds still running around )

So I purchased Fire, along with Ass and Asha (who both get refs soon) from *zeunicorn1o when she decided to close up her harpg stable. I couldn't resist a Racus baby, nor one by Windy so Fire here is going to be aimed towards ridden disciplines so keep your eyes out for her in the show ring…… eventually .

The chestnut filly had settled well into life on KhanCohban Farm. At first she had been antsy and nippy, unsociable and testy towards the people and the horses around her. She was even off her feed for a few days, which given the information sent with her was a huge deal. In the end she settled down and her feed bin was licked clean and her ears pricked towards the cheery whistling of Ryan as he strolled down the barn aisle.

It had been decided when she had arrived that she would be spelled from entering training until she adjusted, and due to her similar age she had been stalled next to the endless friendliness that was Lin. The black filly seemed to decide it was her mission in life to make friends with the new arrival. Constant chortling echoed around the barn mixed with squeals in the first few days. After a week the pair were grooming each other over the day paddock fences. In the end we decided to let them out together and from then on it was pure horsey love.

Now it has been two months and Fire had regained the weight she had lost in her travels. Her belly was rounder than we would like but she was maintaining it on a paddock diet so we decided she could keep it until she began training. She was a beautiful mare once her English winter fuzz had shed and her sleek summer coat now matched her companions.

She was rather pretty to look at, though not an elegant beauty. She had clean straight legs, a deep chest and a nice shoulder. Her neck was a little thin and her head a bit blocky but she had character in those big brown eyes, and she could con pants off you to get the treats if she wanted. Time would only tell if she would take well to training, or if she would be the one making the people run circles.

Temperament: Fire has matured into a funny mare. She still retains her absolute love of food, and her laziness remains unchanged. She’s in general a happy mare and likes attention but can get sour when being worked so watch her if she is having a moody day. If you ask her to do too much she also sulks afterwards so the key for this girl has been short and sweet training sessions.
History: Fire has settled well into life on the farm. She was sent over with Ass and Asha and was thrown in with Lin due to her endless friendly nature. They have since become almost inseparable and Lin can even tease this porker into a happy romp around the pasture. She is being left in the paddocks to mature until she turns 3 to begin her training after it was decided she didn't have the personality or fitness to begin racing.
Discipline(s): Undecided, not cut out for racing though.

Also, i seem to be seriously struggling with an art block that i think has been brought on by frustration about my RL. So i am all over the shop with what i can focus on. My RL is unlikely to resolve any time soon so bear with me. I may be posting a bunch of flat coloured images while this happens as i cant seem to get my shading muse working atm. it sucks as i have about 15 images that are partially shaded that i just cant stand to focus on... Pain in the ass i tell you!
