Dreaming Tomorrow

Silly title, but its kinda true.

Right now Tuaq and Kaniq don't have anything like this. But in the end they will be calling the Ger in the foreground home. Its part of Issora still, but they will camp a little way away. They have lived alone for too long, and both of them find the constant bustle and people of the main camp overwhelming. So while they will be in sight and walk of the Large Ger of the twins, they will have some tranquility.

Tuaq's Ger will be decorated with his walrus tusk tattoos. one tusk on either side of the door (mouth of the Ger), protecting against sickness, bad spirits entering and continuing his theme of Walrus markings on his belongings. 

The inside will have a cook stove, a bed for him and a sleeping area for Kaniq so she can shelter from extreme weather. He will have his skis near the door, and basic saddle/harness gear for Kaniq all hung up and organised. There will be large warm furs and mats all around the Ger for places to sleep as well as areas he can use to carve and work wood/bone inside. 

His few cherished books and belongings will sit in a small chest near his bed, next to the large wicker basket that contains his various clothing. 

He will be adding to the Ger as he hunts and finds new items. I will also be drawing the inside when it gets a little closer in actual story line. I just sketched this last night and couldn't resist finishing it.
