Curiosity

More distracting myself from actually completing anything important XD But this is kinda important! Its the first time i have drawn Aul, the newest member of Tuaq's pack. 

Its also a little gift for the awesome scaramouche2802 of her handsome boy Tiriaq! Their sled seems to have had issues, and Tuaq is helping out!

Tuaq walked through the thin layer of new snow, the soft crunching of his feet accompanied by the panting breath of the young Tokota following him. She was still just a pup, but she had already mastered most of his basic commands and was reliable enough to come and check the traps with him. He reached down and ruffled her ears, causing her to grin up at him before resuming her steady walk alongside him.

They were crossing a clearing when Aul stopped, sniffing the air and let out a slight yip. Tuaq paused and turned to her, following her gaze down the valley and meeting the eyes of a strange adult Tokota. The tension was palpable even over such a distance. It didnt seem wild, the harness it wore was an obvious sign that it belonged to someone, but that was no guarantee that it was friendly, or even under control. 

Aul let out a soft whine, her head lowered as she tried to signal her submission. Tuaq stepped beside her and dropped a knee next to her and watched as the Tokota turned away to look behind him. A woman appeared and walked around him then placed a hand on his shoulder and raised the other in greeting.
